In this workshop, you’ll get a firsthand look at the process of developing, calculating, and simulating new products (components, machines, cars, etc.) primarily using computers. You’ll gain insights into these design and construction processes and have the opportunity to observe a 3D printer in action. Through a CAD program, you’ll learn how to create and modify three-dimensional objects. Finally, you’ll have the chance to design your own product and print it using the 3D printer.
The workshop is a playful introduction to the world of 3D printing and is held in cooperation with the “Insitut zur Förderung des IT-Nachwuchses” (IFIT).
