The Long Night of Research is a great opportunity to experience science up close!
Discover our neuroscience lab with virtual reality goggles or test your skills on our Science TukTuk. A large selection of play and work stations awaits you and your whole family.
This year’s program highlights include a science show, and there will also be two family lectures given by our colleagues Andrea Stöllner, Lukas Lindorfer and Florian Strahodinsky.

ISTA is easily accessible by public transportation. The ISTA shuttle bus (direct) or bus 400 runs from Vienna-Heiligenstadt (U4) to the stop “Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA)”. It is possible to travel by car, but there is limited parking available in the parking garage on the ISTA campus.
