There is much to discover in the Wienerwald nature reserve. We explore the various habitats and their inhabitants and learn about the methods researchers at ISTA use to uncover nature’s secrets.
Bad weather alternative: Step into the role of a behavioral researcher, dive into the world of invertebrates, and conduct experiments that you and your research group develop during the workshops.
This workshop can be offered free of charge thanks to the support of the state of Lower Austria.
This workshop is designed for children aged 8 to 12 years. The children do not need to bring anything – everything they need will be provided on-site.
The program is family-friendly, so accompanying adults and younger siblings are warmly invited to participate actively. If younger siblings join, an accompanying adult must be present.
Please note that this program is a recurring format, with only minor changes compared to the previous semester.
