But basic research often takes years to become accessible to the public in everyday life. The Institute of Science and Technology is therefore opening up to a new generation of interdisciplinary collaboration: gatherings of art, science, design and technology will create new spaces and provide access points.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the exhibition “Roots & Trajectories” on the occasion of the first successful season of our Artist Residency.
Over the past months, the artists Daniela Brill Estrada (COL) and Shailesh BR (IND) have had the opportunity to exchange ideas with various researchers at ISTA and to gain comprehensive insights into laboratories and research projects. They have translated excerpts of these exchanges into installations and research diary-like collages and works.
