16:00-17:00
ISTA Campus

This lecture is part of the Science Omas project. Further information on the project is available here.

In the third lecture in our series, scientist Theresa Muthspiel provides exciting insights into the world of immune cells. She explains how macrophages – our body’s own defense cells – react to intruders and why they are sometimes even “fed” with tiny magnetic particles. Through this fascinating interplay of biology and physics, researchers learn how the immune system works and what this means for our health.

For whom?

The lectures are aimed at all those interested in the project, especially women 60+ who are keen to discover new scientific findings.

Partners, female partners, friends and acquaintances are very welcome!

After the lecture, there will be an exclusive opportunity for women 60+ to talk to the speaker, ask questions and discuss the exciting possibilities of immune research.”
