Current research meets education!
Secure your place in our training course at the ISTA research campus in Klosterneuburg. This event offers you the opportunity to engage in direct exchange with researchers on current research topics. Experience the everyday life of researchers up close on exciting lab tours – and that on any of the available dates on different biological topics!
Try out innovative teaching and learning materials and activities that we have developed in close collaboration with ISTA researchers, and share your valuable feedback with us. In this way, you will contribute to the optimization of the materials, which will then be available as free downloads in German and English.
This event is eligible for PH continuing education credits. You choose one of the dates and spend six hours on campus. Food and coffee will be provided.
Goal of this training:
Integrate research methods and current knowledge into your teaching: Get the latest charts and data to enrich your lessons and give your students realistic insights into the world of science.
Working with customizable teaching materials: Take the opportunity to try out prepared teaching materials and optimize them with valuable feedback.
Promoting critical thinking and curiosity: Inspire your students by implementing inquiry-based learning in relevant contexts.
Gain direct insight into the world of research: Experience research work at ISTA through direct interaction with scientists and exclusive lab tours.
Networking and exchange: Connect with other teachers and science communicators to share forward-thinking ideas and learn from each other.
