A summer full of discoveries

The VISTA Summer Campus Research Programs are held annually from July to August, offering children diverse about science over the course of a week. The same program is repeated across several weeks to provide as many children and adolescents as possible with an in-depth insight into the world of research. What is researched at an international research institute and how is work done there?

In our VISTA Summer Campus research programs, young people get to know the ISTA campus, meet scientists, visit laboratories and learn about the latest research findings in a fun way. In various workshops, students in different age groups can experiment, research, tinker, program and experience science up close.

Please note that all programs are held in German!

Vifzack Academy

The Vifzack Academy is your research week with accommodation packed with cool research content, excursions, and leisure programs! You will get to know kids with similar interests from all over Austria. At the campus of the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) in Klosterneuburg, you will gain practical research experience, meet top scientists, and spend a week with other students who are just as passionate about research as you are. This program is aimed at lower secondary school students from all over Austria.
