VISTA child protection concept

The VISTA team is committed to respecting the needs of all children and teenagers participating in our science education programs in order to preserve their mental and physical integrity. Our child protection concept serves as a set of guidelines to achieve this goal. It helps the VISTA team and our external collaborators to avoid and recognize potential sources of conflict and violence when working with children and teenagers, and to act correctly in an emergency. Together, we can create a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Have you observed or experienced a situation that violated the concept’s principles?

Please use the checklist for suspected cases and report the incident in person or in writing to the child protection team: kinderschutz@ista.ac.at
