On this tour, you will meet Daniel Dörler. Daniel studied zoology at the University of Vienna and went on to earn his doctorate at BOKU Vienna. In 2014, he and his colleague Florian Heigl founded the platform “Österreich forscht” (www.citizen-science.at), which he continues to coordinate today. This platform features research projects in which anyone can participate. Daniel talks about his career as a queer scientist and his research on and with citizen science.   

After hearing about Daniel’s research and his path, the VISTA Team will take you on a tour of the interactive exhibition “Science in the Making”, where research can be experienced up close.

The tour with Daniel Dörler will be held in German.

Recommended for ages 12 and up. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets must be booked for all participants.
