How do plants ‘feel’?

In this tour, you will meet Dmitrii Vladimirtsev. He is a plant biologist interested in the questions: how do plants sense stimuli, like gravity and light? What do hormones have to do with this?

Join Dmitrii to discover how he studies plant adaptations to their environment - from growing deeper roots to turning toward sunlight - and get a glimpse into the fascinating world of plants. After hearing about his research, Dmitrii will take you on a tour of the interactive exhibition “Science in the Making”, followed by a visit to his lab, where research can be experienced up close.

The tour with Dmitrii Valdimirtsev will be held in English.

Recommended for ages 12 and up. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets must be booked for all participants.
