The workshop is suitable for children aged 7–10. For children under 14, the presence of an accompanying adult is required. Tickets must be booked for all attendees. Workshop will be held in German.

Why do trees look so different from bacteria? Why do fish live in water and insects on land? Lifeforms have had millions of years to adapt to a wide variety of surroundings. Although living organisms look very different, they all have something in common—an internal “blueprint” made of DNA. The workshop introduces you to the topics of evolution and genetics. Through games and experiments, you will learn how all living things are related to each other and how to see the DNA of strawberries.

If you cannot find a suitable date or all dates are fully booked, we also offer additional workshop dates sponsored by the state of Lower Austria!
