The power of thought – How the brain controls muscles

The Workshop will be held in German.

On this journey into neuroscience, you will make the activity of your own nerve cells visible and audible, and explore what can be controlled with it.

Together, we will follow the path of a movement command from the brain, through nerve cells, to the muscle and the resulting movement. Using your own EMG measurements, you will visualize the electrical activity of your muscles and investigate how these signals can change. Finally, we will explore how discoveries from basic neuroscience research can help drive the development and improvement of new technologies. Recommended for: Biology, Science/NaWi
