Of Trojan Horses and Hitchhikers: The “Stranger Things” of the Microcosm

When science sounds like science fiction: In his research, biologist Elia Mascolo has encountered phenomena worthy of a feature film. Discover a virus that hijacks a bacterial cell to infiltrate bacterial communities, and a tiny virus that hitches a ride on a larger virus, exploiting its replication machinery.

Join Elia on a journey through the “Stranger Things” of the microcosm. Afterwards, he will guide you through the interactive exhibition Science in the Making.

The tour will be held in English.

Recommended for ages 12+. For children under 14, the presence of an accompanying adult is required. Tickets must be booked for all attendees.
